Elizabeth Boquet is Professor of English, Director of the Writing Center, and Director of Writing at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. She is the author of Noise from the Writing Center and co-author of The Everyday Writing Center: A Community of Practice, both published by Utah State University Press. She served two terms as co-editor of The Writing Center Journal. Her work has also appeared in College Composition and Communication, College English, Composition Studies, and Writing on the Edge.
Dr. Boquet’s work resonates perfectly for those of us involved in IWCA and NCPTW. The role of innovation and imagination in her work, as well as her advocacy for peer tutors makes Dr. Boquet the perfect person to address the 2014 joint conference.
